Best Time to Visit

June to September is ideal. July-August for pleasant weather. Lake Saif-ul-Malook accessible July-September. Babusar Pass open June-October.

Transport Tips

For Lake Saif-ul-Malook and Lalazar, 4x4 vehicles are required. Local jeeps available for hire in Naran. Road to Babusar is good but high altitude.

Food Recommendations

Must try fresh trout from the Kunhar River. Available in most restaurants in Naran. Local cuisine includes chappli kebab and walnut cake.

Trekking

For Dudipatsar and Siri Paye, hire local guides. Carry proper trekking gear. Acclimatize properly for high altitude treks.

Photography

Best spots: Lake Saif-ul-Malook at sunrise, Babusar Pass for mountain views, Shogran for valley panoramas, Kunhar River for flowing water shots.

Weather Preparation
